Photographer Raises 15k For Urban Recipe

It’s with pleasure that we share this latest bit of news with you. Atlanta photographer, Kate Byars, just raised $15,000 in donations for us!

Kate volunteered at the beginning of quarantine to photograph families on their front porches in exchange for a donation to Urban Recipe. Kate left the donation amount up to the individual families and gave the photographs to them for free.

Given the rapid increase in member families, and the increase in food deliveries on our end, we were very grateful!

Below are a few photos of her Front Porch Project photos. Kate is a family and child photographer in Atlanta who regularly contributes to charitable giving causes through photography. You can find out more about her work on her website or Instagram, where she updates on new giving projects each day.

We are glad to have met her. Thanks, Kate!
