Manda Shankel, Director of Development, has worked in nonprofit administration for close to fifteen years garnering experience in community engagement programming, marketing, sales, communications, and fundraising. Spending the last ten years in development, her expertise is specifically in annual fund and capital campaign development, and grant writing. Her approach whether a corporation, foundation or individual is the same – she enjoys building relationships, bringing people along on the journey, and connecting their passion with the organizational mission. She also finds joy in that she can see the direct impact of the work that she and her colleagues do. When Manda isn’t working, you find her hiking with her two doggies and obsessing over the Olympics, recording all the footage and watching it from start to finish.
